| Invercargill
Invercargill's parks and gardens are a must see - especially Queens
Park. The Southland Museum
and Art gallery contains displays of Southland's history, along
with three exhibition galleries. The most popular attraction at the
museum is Henry,
a 123 year old Tuatara - still alive today!
The Catlins
Approximately 1 1/2 hours drive south of Dunedin brings you to the
mighty Catlins, one of New Zealand best kept secrets. The Catlins
is a vast array of Wild country, beautiful virgin beaches, hilly farmland
and areas of forest.
