A visit to the Bay of Islands is an absolute must. It is here you can enjoy a multitude of land and water based activities and attraction. We recommend visiting Waitangi (near Paihia) where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed. Whether you wish to learn about the Waitangi's past, explore the grounds and buildings yourself or as part of a tour, you will find the visit most rewarding.
