Nelson Attractions
The Nelson region offers a huge range or exciting and memorable attractions for you to choose from. For sun lovers, there are many stunning beaches and bays to relax and enjoy the warm Nelson weather. Boat / Ferry trips to some of the area's more remote bays, beaches & islands are also available. We recommend visiting the Abel Tasman National Park where you can walk the world famous Abel Tasman Walkway. Further north, Farewell Spit (Golden Bay) is an ecological wonderland well worth visiting. The Nelson Lakes National Park (to the south) boasts stunning natural beauty, bush-clad mountains, pristine lakes and is a great place for hiking.
